It’s a new year – time for fresh starts and fun beginnings! We are here to help with programs for all ages!

January Program Calendar

All programs are free.

What a Wonderful World!

It’s a song, a poem, and the truth! We are challenging ourselves to see the wonder in our world every day this year. To soothe our souls while we feed our minds, we will celebrate a different color and share a poem (or two) each month. Join us on our journey.

Fresh green is the color for January. Click HERE to read January’s poems.  Click HERE to find some books that might just put you in a fresh green frame of mind.

What a Wonderful Meal!

That’s what your family will say after you cook along with Chef Rob. This month the menu is: Italian Bread Stick Salad, Grandma Style Spaghetti Pie, and Crustless Apple Crumb Pie. Recipes are available at the library or to download HERE. Workshop will stream live on our Facebook page on Saturday, January 23, at 2 PM. Video will remain on our Facebook page for you to watch and cook along at your convenience through February 15.

What a Wonderful Time!

Why just watch a movie when you can become part of it without ever leaving the comfort of your own couch? Our DIY Family Movie Night kits come with a movie (which you must return) plus a script and all the props you need for everyone watching to get in on the action and become part of the show.  This month’s feature presentations are: The Addams Family, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, and The Goonies

Teens will put next month’s new DIY movie kit to the test at our Teen Only Movie Night on January 29. Space at this event is limited; if you know a teen in need of a swashbuckling good time, reserve a place at this event by calling the library today!
