Christmas Movie Challenge

Catch the holiday spirit and help raise money for the Friends of the Berryville Library!

Miracle on Spring Street Christmas Movie Challenge

36 Days to Watch 1,000 Christmas Movies

We have a Secret Santa* willing to donate $5 for each Christmas movie our friends, near and far, watch this holiday season.  If we can watch 1,000 movies before the New Year’s bells ring $5,000 will be donated to the Friends of the Berryville Library to help with the work they are doing to raise money for the new library building in Berryville.

Time is ticking, sign up today!

You can sign up and participate online on the Beanstack app or by clicking here.

If you participated in our Summer Reading Challenge this year and already have a Beanstack account, you can sign in with that account and just register for this new challenge. If you need your Beanstack password reset, just call the library.

Prefer paper? You can sign up at the library to participate just on paper. For a sneak peek at what the paper log looks like click here.

Only movies watched from now until December 31, 2020 count for this challenge so sign up today!

Just three easy steps

Once you sign up, all we ask from you is the gift of your time as you follow three easy steps:

1) Watch Christmas movies. Any movie set during the holidays with a reference to Christmas counts: watch classics, watch kids’ movies, watch Hallmark, watch any Christmas movie you love!

2) Record the title of each movie you watch.

3) Report your numbers to the library (if you are using the app, it will do that for you automatically).

* Please help our Secret Santas make this magic happen!

This Friends of the Berryville Library Fundraiser is being brought to you by our not-so-secret Santas, Paul and Carol Engskov, in hope that others will catch the spirit and sponsor similar events to generate dollars for our new library over the next few years.

Please contact us via phone, email, Facebook, Instagram OR come on into the library.  The library is back open 7 days a week.

Have a very merry Christmas Movie Watching Time!
