April Program Calendar

Posted on April 1, 2025

Come build with us this spring as we offer a slew of fun programs and watch construction begin on our new library!

Need more information about any of these programs or any of the services the library provides? Contact us via phone, Facebook, Instagram, email, or in person.

Our new building is under construction!

We are breaking ground for our new library at 11 AM on April 1, 2025. Construction is slated to start immediately (or as soon as the rain that is now predicted moves out so we can start moving some dirt).

We have raised over $3.65M, which is enough to cover construction costs. We will continue to raise money to furnish the building.

Please consider a donation anytime. All gifts are tax-deductible and can be made online or by cash or check at the library.

Got a story under construction?

Write On! is for you! This small group of aspiring and published writers meets every second and fourth Saturday from 1 PM to 3 PM. All writers of all ages with writing projects at any stage (even just in your head!) are welcome to join.

There may be occasional writing prompts, snacks, and other types of incentives but, mostly, the focus will be on writing and helping those participating keep their creative flow going.

Please consider writing part of your story at the library!

Want to construct a meal from your own yard?

Or maybe just part of a meal? Sign up to meet Tim Hammer at our 4th Monday Meetup on April 28.

The owner, forager extraordinaire, and culinary creative at Homegrown Native Foods LLC, Tim is passionate about good food, nutrition, and foraging! It’s a great way to save on your grocery bill, get some exercise, and some tasty veggies and fruit to eat.

This 2-hour session will be part conversation and part workshop, with some hands-on activities to get you started on your foraging journey.

Please consider starting your foraging journey this spring with us. But space is limited! Call or stop by the library to reserve your spot today!
